there is nothing quite like miles and miles of traveling on long empty roads in New Mexico to reacquaint my inner artist with the glories of line and color. lines of the highways, phone lines on tall poles, white sand dunes, stalactites and stalagmites, and rolling hill horizons. colors of the muted desert vegetation, sun rises and sun sets, and various blues of the cloudless spring sky.
It’s shocking, but true… I had yet another fantastic experience at Imagination Space. Last Saturday, I facilitated an “Altered Book” workshop. Individuals and families… young and elderly… picked out a “blank” book and turned into their very own work of art.
